
On Monday and Tuesday, 18–19 May 2026, a delegation from the Albanian General Directorate of Industrial Property paid a study visit to the Intellectual Property Office. The delegation was led by Eneda Shiroka, Head of Promotion Sector and Training Centre, and also included Suela Qatipi, Silvana Dhimarko, Isida Lala and Saniola Kore.
On the first day of the visit, a brief meeting was held between the members of the Albanian delegation and Vladimir Marić, Director of the Intellectual Property Office, during which experiences regarding the work of the two offices were exchanged. In a cordial atmosphere, the good cooperation established so far between the two national intellectual property offices was also highlighted.
As part of the study visit, and with a view to exchanging practices and transferring knowledge and experience relating to the services provided by the Education and Information Centre (EIC) of the Intellectual Property Office, presentations were held, accompanied by proactive discussion and comparison of the practices of the two IP offices, with the aim of improving the work of both institutions.
The staff of the Serbian IP Office’s Educational and Information Centre presented services delivered through daily consultations, lectures, workshops, seminars, webinars, participation in business fairs, through the Diagnostics of Intellectual Property service, and in the form of 1:1 consultations. These services are intended for individuals, entrepreneurs and research teams from universities and institutes. The methods of record-keeping and reporting on these activities were also presented.
The IP Office’s staff gave presentations on their areas of work and shared with their colleagues from Albania the knowledge and experience gained over the 16 years of the existence and operation of the Educational and Information Centre. On behalf of the Intellectual Property Office of the Republic of Serbia, the meetings during the study visit were also attended by Assistant Director Daniela Zlatić Šutić and members of the EIC, Nataša Milojević, Jelena Tešić, Saša Zdravković and Tatjana Musić.
