The Intellectual Property Office participated this year also in the segment of the manifestation of the “European Night of Explorers”, which took place on September 29-30, 2023.
On the first day of the manifestation, the Office represented the fourth page of the “Treasure Hunt”, where the interested visitors came to protect their invention by a “patent”. The school children, mostly from primary schools, were very interested in the protection of their inventions which were connected with the task “Treasure Hunt”, and in the form adjusted to such a game for children, they gave the title, purpose and survey of the draft of their invention, so more than 130 patents were “granted”.
On Saturday, the experts from the IPO attached to other participants in the manifestation on the stalls in front of the building of the Faculty for Chemistry in Belgrade where the interested parties were getting acquainted with the topic of patent protection through the well-known children’s inventions, and the children got the advantage also this time, to show their various ideas for the solution of certain problems through the drawings and imaginative titles of the inventions.
