At the invitation of the Regional Agency for Development and European Integrations, Belgrade (RAREI), on Thursday, December 14, 2023, in the premises of RAREI, a lecture was held on the protection of intellectual property rights in doing business and development of innovations. The target groups for whom the lecture was intended were women entrepreneurs or future entrepreneurs to whom the RAREI offers support in doing business.
In the course of delivering lectures, the important questions were underlined, connected to every intellectual property right that should be included by the business subjects into the business strategy, starting with the choice of names and trademark protection of the business subject, products and services all the way to the conditions for the protection of invention by a patent, industrial design and copyright.
Special attention was shown by the participants in the course of the discussion for issues of regulating ownership over the intellectual property rights – during cooperation with partners, in negotiations with the potential investors, as well as during the search of data bases and information, concerning intellectual property rights.
