In the organization of the Board of Appeals of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), on April 29 and 30, 2024, the fifth “IP Case Law Conference” shall take place. The Conference shall be held in the EUIPO in Alicante (Spain), with the possibility to follow events online, for all the interested experts from various jurisdictions, through Zoom platform.
The conference is intended for lawyers and all the interested parties in the field of intellectual property law protection, offering them unique opportunity to get acquainted with the modern procedural and substantial issues of court practice of EU courts in the domain of trademarks and industrial design, as well as to be informed about the new trends in this field.
The discussions shall include broad specter of topics, from copyright-protected works becoming trademarks to the consideration of the system of copyright law protection, on the level of the entire European Union. The presenting of experiences by the judges and members of the EUIPO Board of Appeals shall contribute, making this event unquestionably valuable for all the participants.
The conference shall be held in the English language, with the possibility of the simultaneous translation into French, German, Italian and Spanish. The works from the conference shall be recorded and available to the participants after the event.
