On Thursday, November 23, 2023, the IPO was visited by the students of the final year of the master studies from the Faculty of Machine Engineering of Belgrade University in the framework of the subject “Technical Legislative and Standards”. This visit continues the successful cooperation between this Faculty and the Intellectual Property Office that has been going on for thirteen years in continuity.
In the course of this visit, the students got acquainted with the range of activities of the Office, the history of the IPO, the conditions and procedures for the protection of various intellectual property rights, as well as electronic registers kept by the IPO for those rights. The students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the importance of patent information, as well as the topic of search of patent documentation in data base “Espacenet” and in the base “LENS” that contains, in addition to patent documentation, also published expert works.
