In cooperation with the Science and Technology Park Belgrade, for the representatives of the members of the startup community and companies for technological development in the science and technology parks in Čačak and Niš, two lectures were held on the protection of intellectual property rights in the process of innovation development by the employees of the Intellectual Property Office. The first lecture was held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, in STP Čačak, while the second lecture was held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, in STP Niš.
In the course of the lectures, it has been pointed out how important it is to protect innovations by different IP rights, in particular those in the key phases of development, especially bearing in mind that they could represent significant asset for the attraction of innovations, further development or later sale or licensing. Bearing in mind that the participants came from business companies in early phase of development or from those working on development projects, the purpose of IP protection has been represented along with the conditions for the protection by various rights.
