On Thursday, 23 April 2026, the Intellectual Property Office held a Workshop on searching patent documentation in the Espacenet database.
The workshop was open to the public, meaning that registration was available to all interested persons. Participants therefore included representatives of law offices, patent attorneys, faculties and institutes, a public authority, as well as one company. Following the introductory lecture, which presented the various functions of the database and the ways in which it can be used, participants were given the opportunity to work independently on computers. With the support of patent examiners Ivana Krdžić and Jelena Tešić, the participants took an active part in working with Espacenet and in locating the assigned patent documents.
