On Thursday, December 18, 2025, the IPO was visited by final year master studies from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Belgrade University, within the course “Technical Regulations and Standards”. This visit continues the successful cooperation between the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the Intellectual Property Office, which has been lasting for fifteen years in a row.
During the visit, the students were introduced to the scope of work of the IPO, the history of the IPO, the conditions and procedures for the protection of various intellectual property rights, as well as the electronic registers that the Office maintains for these rights. The students also had the opportunity to learn about the importance of patent information, as well as the topic of searching patent documentation in the “Espacenet” database and the “LENS” database, which, in addition to patent documentation, also contains published expert works of professionals.
