On 12 March 2026, the Intellectual Property Office hosted the IMPAC3T-IP user training workshop, a training event dedicated to knowledge valorisation, that is, to ways of ensuring that research results achieve broader application and greater social and economic impact.
More than 40 participants from the countries of the Western Balkans, as well as from Hungary and Turkey, took part in the training. During the programme, new tools were presented to support knowledge and technology transfer, the joint development of ideas, equitable access to research results, as well as the application of artificial intelligence in research activities.
Among the participants interested in the practical application of these new tools were representatives of technology transfer centres, science and technology parks, research organisations, as well as staff of the Intellectual Property Office.
This training represents another step towards strengthening the research, innovation and knowledge transfer ecosystem in the region.
