The European Patent Office (EPO) is organizing an online event to award prizes to the finalists of this years European Young Inventors Prize 2025 whose innovations contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Designed for individuals under the age of 30, the Young Inventors Prize recognizes exceptional young people who are paving the way for a more sustainable future.
Young inventors want a better and more sustainable future for all of us, and their solutions help insure a seamless supply of water and energy in a sustainable way. By enabling a circular economy, they also support the creation of prosperous communities.
With incredible empathy, those innovators work to improve and solve key community problems, developing solutions that ensure equal access to food, education and work, preventing discrimination in any form.
Protecting our ecosystems and the flora and fauna within them is a priority goal for the young population. Conservationists care for endangered species on land and underwater, with the aim of reducing the damage we cause to ecosystems or reducing the impact of climate change.
