At the NIS a.d. Novi Sad Business Center, on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, a training session on patent documentation search was held for employees of this company and representatives of the NIS – Naftagas Science and Technology Center (NTC).
The NTC was established with the aim of monitoring the scientific and technological activities of NIS and the application of innovations in business, and the training was conducted to better acquaint the participants with the domestic and foreign patent documentation databases and their use.
Participants had the opportunity to become better acquainted with the patent classification, patent families and the importance of searching patent documentation, and, in particular, how to use the Espacenet database was demonstrated. At the end of the workshop, participants had the opportunity to use independently this database on examples from the company’s scientific and technological activities.
