The Intellectual Property Office is conducting a consultation on the definition of a common European position on the practice of examining essential requirements for patent protection.
In this regard, we invite all interested parties to provide their views on the document entitled “Draft proposal for a common European Position on best practice from a European perspective in the context of the SPLH” (CA/PL 21/25) prepared by the European Patent Organization (EPO).

The aim of the consultation is the harmonization of substantive patent law in Europe. Any expert, reasoned and well-reasoned opinion is welcome.
