Е-Patent register

Electronic Patent Register contains the bibliographic data and legal status on the patent applications and registered patents for the period since January 1, 1994. 

For all the data from the Patent Register, the Intellectual Property Office issues excerpts from the

Register, at the request of the interested party, which has the meaning of the public certificate and the accuracy of the data contained in the certificate, is guaranteed.

E-Petty Patent Register

Electronic Petty Patent Register contains the bibliographic data and legal status on the petty patent applications and registered petty patents for the period since March 24, 1995, when this form of protection for inventions was introduced in the Republic of Serbia.  

For all the data from the Petty Patent Register, the Intellectual Property Office issues excerpts from the Register, at the request of the interested party, which have the meaning of the public certificate and the accuracy of the data contained in the certificate is guaranteed.

Database of Supplementary Protection Certificates

This database contains the data on the requests for Supplementary Protection Certificate  which were submitted in the Republic of Serbia from July 1, 2013, since when it is possible to obtain an additional period of protection for patents for pharmaceuticals and plant protection products.

Publication Server

The server of published patent documents (Publication server RS) is a platform for publishing national patent documents. The server includes documents published in the period from 1921 until today. Documents can be searched by publication number or IPC symbol.

MIMOSA RS

MIMOSA RS offers the possibility of searching through bibliographic data of the published national patent documents using the MIMOSA technology. Search results are linked to the corresponding scanned documents.

Program MIMOSA RS is available for download on the following link: MIMOSA_RS_V6_0_7_5
After downloading and extracting the program package, run Setup.exe for the installation. Program parameters are adjusted for the access to the Serbian national patent documentation database. Guide for searching in the national patent database MIMOSA RS is available in Serbian language.

The International Patent Classification (IPC) is a hierarchical system of independent symbols for the classification of inventions according to their technical characteristics. The IPC divides the entire field of technology into eight sections with over 70,000 symbols.

Intellectual Property Gazette

The official gazette of the Intellectual Property Office of the Republic of Serbia is published twice a month and contains data on published and registered industrial property rights. From issue 2020/07, an additional edition of the Intellectual Property Gazette is published in the middle of the calendar month, so that trademark applications are published twice a month. On the last working day of the month, the Gazette is published, which also contains data on other industrial property rights.

In accordance with the Patent Law, Article 102, technical preparations for the publication of patent applications are considered completed on the 15th calendar day in the month of publication of the Gazette, or the first previous working day if the deadline falls on a non-working day.

As of 2012/01, the Intellectual Property Gazette is available only in digital form under serial number ISSN 2217-9143.
