Quality Management System in the Intellectual Property Office

Quality management system according to the standard ISO 9001:2015 in the Intellectual Property Office includes the processes of patent grant, petty patent grant and national trademark grant.

Our quality management system was successfully recertified on November 9, 2020 in cooperation with the expert team of the certification body Bureau Veritas Certification Holding SAS.

The quality management system of the Intellectual Property Office was certified for the first time on November 1, 2011 according to the then current standard ISO 9001: 2008, and included the processes of patent grant, petty patent grant and trademark grant.

Starting from 2011, the Office continuously and successfully annually performs internal and external control processes, as well as mandatory recertification processes, conducted by an external supervisory body, every third year. All this testifies to the exceptional commitment for quality procedure management of all employees of the Intellectual Property Office.

Quality objectives, in the foreground put the satisfaction of customers as users of services for the recognition of these intellectual property rights in compliance with the relevant legal framework.

The satisfaction of the users of our services is therefore regularly checked through a survey, which is sent to applicants for patents, petty patents and national trademarks in electronic form. The results of each survey are carefully analyzed and used to improve key aspects of our certified administrative procedures.
