REGIONAL SEMINAR “IP INSTITUTIONAL POLICIES: CHALLENGES IN ADOPTION AND IMPLEMENTATION”

The seminar “IP Institutional Policies: Challenges in Adoption and Implementation” was organized in cooperation with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Belgrade University with great success on November 5-6, 2019 in the Intellectual Property Office of the Republic of Serbia in Belgrade.
This seminar, at an advanced level, was held as the follow up of the similar seminars that had been organized in Belgrade in the course of the previous years. The seminar was opened by Nedeljko Milosavljevic, Director of the Technology Transfer Center of the Belgrade University, Branka Totic, Asstant Director of the Intellectual Property Office and Olga Spasic from the WIPO. The lecturers at the seminar were experts from Serbia, France, Turkey, Croatia, Great Britain and Bulgaria.
Around 40 experts participated at the seminar, who were engaged at the tasks of the development and implementation of the policy of intellectual property and commercialization of the technology at the universities and R&D institutions.
