DIRECTOR OF THE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OFFICE
Vladimir Marić was born on March 3, 1972, in the city of Loznica, where he also attended elementary school and high school. He graduated at the Belgrade`s University Faculty of Law in 1997 and specialized further with two LL.M.’s - first at the Belgrade`s Law School, and an another at the Faculty of Law at Torino University. He has been a permanent employee in the Intellectual Property Office since. He worked as an Examiner at Trademark Department, Head of the Trademark Department, Assistant Director in Sector for Copyright and International Cooperation. Today, he has been appointed as an Acting Director of the Office. He has been also teaching Intellectual Property at the Faculty of Law of the Union University at Belgrade for last 11 years. He published several books and many articles from various fields of IP.
Vladimir Marić speaks fluent English language.
He is married and has three children: Milan, Vuk and Lenka.
